As a qualified and experienced personal trainer I work with private clients at their home or gym helping them achieve their own personal goals, whether they be: weight loss/gain, increased cardiovascular fitness, strength and conditioning, event training or their first 5k! In addition many of my clients are referred by a physiotherapist and some opt for one to one pilates sessions.
A personal trainer is a fitness professional involved in exercise prescription and instruction. We are needed to encourage and motivate clients to work to their capabilities by setting goals, structuring programmes, and providing feedback. This can be done in the comfort of your home.
We will start with an initial, obligation free consultation where we will explore and set your personal goals. We will discuss medical history, goal setting, nutrition and realistic expectations. From that first session I will then complete a programme and offer advice on adopting a healthier eating plan if needed (clients complete a food diary for me to look at) to suit your sport or health and fitness needs ready for session 2. I will then continue to motivate and support you by training at a comfortable pace and progressive level, that will in turn keep you motivated to reach your goals.
It is essential for the well being of both mother and child that the mother stays strong, injury free and healthy during this period. Targeting specific muscle groups can help with delivery and reduce the time it takes to get back into shape.
Personal Training is available in either single 1 hour slots or in block sessions of 10 sessions.
