Pilates is a whole body conditioning exercise. It is low impact so suitable for everyone, but high on results! It focuses on stretching and strengthening the whole body to improve balance, tone, flexibility and posture using your inner core stabilising muscles to control each movement.

My Pilate's techniques and method allow you to successfully improve your posture by focusing on your core muscles and increasing your strength and flexibility. By learning how to target your 'core' and stabilising the muscles throughout your entire body you will sculpt, tone, develop and condition lean muscle.

Joseph Pilates presents his methods as the art of controlled movement, which feel and look like a workout. If practised with consistency,  Pilates improves flexibility, builds strength and develops control and endurance in the whole human body. It places emphasis on body alignment, breathing and the development of a strong core. It also improves coordination and balance.

I follow all the above in my practice. I encourage my clients of all ages and abilities to improve from week to week with a class that flows from one exercise to the next utilising the whole of the body, whilst relaxing music is played encouraging clients to switch off to their surroundings. My classes tone the body and we use resistance equipment such as balls, bands and hand weights on occasion to encourage this.

Session Costs

Classes are £50 for a block of 6 (to be taken within the 6 week period). Once a block is paid for you are welcome to join the other classes if you wish.

Village Fitness also offers a £50 monthly membership payable by standing order which allows attendance at any class or zoom of your choice as often as you wish within that month.
